Amy Joseph oversees the daily operations of National Institute for Public Policy and is responsible for corporate administration, human resources, contract management, in-house accounting functions and serves as the liaison to the National Institute Board of Directors.
Mrs. Joseph has over 25 years experience as a conference coordinator and senior administrator organizing conferences for government and private organizations. Mrs. Joseph has organized and implemented all aspects of conference management. She has organized events, both domestic and international with attendance ranging from 10 to over 600 persons from government, industry, and academia. Participants have included senior U.S. and foreign government officials including: the U.S. Secretary of Defense, the U.S. Undersecretary of Defense for Policy, the Director of the U.S. Arms Control and Disarmament Agency (ACDA), the Director of the Strategic Defense Initiative Organization (SDIO), the Director of the Ballistic Missile Defense Organization (BMDO), members of both Houses of the U.S. Congress, former British Prime Minister Lady Margaret Thatcher, Russian officials from the Kremlin, the Foreign Ministry, and Parliament, and Ministry of Defense officials from Germany, France, and Israel.
Mrs. Joseph maintains the National Institute publication series and website, and provides oversight support to the international journal, Comparative Strategy.
